30 Day Friday Night Lights challenge | Day 16 – Your favorite quote; 3x13 Tomorrow Blues
“No matter what happens, no matter where you go, no matter what you do, I’m always gonna be behind you. Always and always and always”
No explanation needed, this scene, this couple and this quote = perfection ♥
30 Day Friday Night Lights challenge | Day 8 – Your favorite character overall; Tami Taylor
“There is no weakness in forgiveness”
There is simply no words to describe the pure brilliance of Tami Taylor. She is gorgeous, smart, witty and loving. She cares for people, she always listens, never stops believing that everyone deserves a chance, she always wants to do more and to be more. She is such a strong, dedicated woman, a wonderful mother and wife. Her scenes with Eric and Julie always left me in awe. I won’t joke when I say it’s my dream to be like her.
30 Day Friday Night Lights challenge | Day 11 – Your favorite pairing; (3/3) Eric/Tami
“No matter what happens, no matter where you go, no matter what you do, I’m always gonna be behind you. Always and always and always”
First off, this is my favorite quote in the history of the show. And second off, Eric and Tami may be the best couple in the history of tv. DEEP FEELINGS ALL OVER THE PLACE. The endless amount of love, devotion, understanding and affection between them never stopped to amaze me. The way they looked at each other, touched each other, supposted each other and even argued showed how special their relationship was. They complete each other ♥
30 Day Friday Night Lights challenge | Day 24 – Your favorite Coach and Mrs Coach scene; 1x22
“Come here. Come here. I love you.” - “I love you.”
There are dozens of wonderful Eric/Tami scenes because I swear to God they’re the most brilliantly written couple in the tv history but if I started choosing my favorite 3/5/10 scenes, I would never be able to stop. I chose this one scene, the scene which warms my heart and makes me cry and makes me think that having a person who loves you so deeply, so passionately and so naturally is the best thing in the world. They are simply perfect, together and apart. And Tami telling Eric she is pregnant was completely heartbreaking, in the best possible way.

2011 Emmy Nominations:
CONNIE BRITTON, LEAD ACTRESS IN A DRAMA SERIES
KYLE CHANDLER, LEAD ACTOR IN A DRAMA SERIES
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, OUTSTANDING DRAMA SERIES
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, OUTSTANDING WRITING IN A DRAMA SERIESKyle: I talked to her this morning, yeah. I bet she didn’t tell you that she’s so happy because she just likes any excuse to be around me. I told her she was lucky because she’d get to be around me at another award show. And she started crying loudly. I think they were tears of joy — but it could have just as well been tears of agony (x).
Connie: He was the second call I got. And he was gloating because he was feeling more optimistic about it. The other day, we were talking on the phone and he kept saying that I would get it, that the show would get it. We were both just really thrilled. We love the show so much. It was the little show that could. (x)

Critically lauded by many as the best portrayal of marriage on television because of its realistic rendering of what it means to love someone for better and for worse, Eric and Tami Taylor, as played by the Emmy-nominated duo of Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, have managed to capture the many dichotomous moments in the life of a marriage. Where other TV series tend to focus either on the bickering or the saccharine, “Friday Night Lights” has thrived on nuance, creating domestic moments that simultaneously reflect adoration and frustration; tenderness and sarcasm; respect and fatigue.
